This is the latest edition of the Green Deal Funding Alert, a monthly newsletter that keeps you informed about funding opportunities and initiatives that support sustainable development and the transition to climate neutrality. This edition focuses on guides to help you finance circular projects in your city and to apply for funding of green projects, as well as calls to participate in green city award competitions. Read on to find out how to benefit from these initiatives!
1. EIB – Circular city funding – Call for beneficiaries to receive financing for circular projects
Looking for financing for your circular project or programme? Then check out the Circular City Funding Guide, which offers support for municipalities, businesses and other urban actors in creating circular cities by providing information on financing and funding sources, guidelines for setting up funding programmes and information on the potential for and benefits of the circular economy in an urban context. You will also find case studies on circular cities.
Do you have financing/funding information or a good case study to add, or some inquiries regarding the financing of your circular projects? Then please contact C3@eib.org.
2. LIFE programme - Calls for proposals 2024
The LIFE programme – the EU's funding instrument for the environment and climate action – is issuing calls for proposals, which are expected to be published on the Funding & tenders opportunities portal on 18 April 2024. More information on submission deadlines can be found here.
